Flytrap was awesome! They got us on the schedule fairly quickly and our fence looks great! Joe was awesome! Very responsive and actually took the time to come out and meet us. Unlike other companies who provided a quote without even coming to the house. I would definitely recommend Flytrap if you’re looking for a fence.

Fence installation cost varies widely based on material, length, terrain, gates, and site conditions. Once we break ground, most residential fences are wrapped up in 2–4 days depending on length, material, gates, and terrain. Larger properties or commercial jobs can take longer. From your signed estimate to install day, lead time is typically 2–4 weeks depending on the season and our schedule.
If you live in a neighborhood with an HOA or architectural review board, most require approval before any fence is installed — they'll usually want a site plan, material spec, and fence style. We've worked with HOAs across the Cape Fear region and can put together the submittal package for you (drawings, material details, photos) so you don't have to figure it out alone. Just let us know your community when you request a quote.
Vinyl and aluminum fences perform best in our coastal climate because they're resistant to moisture, salt air, and humidity. Vinyl won't rot, warp, or need repainting, and aluminum is rust-proof. Wood fences also do well when pressure-treated and properly sealed — we use Southern Yellow Pine rated for ground contact. Chain link with vinyl coating is another durable, budget-friendly coastal option.
